The Practical Test
I take pupils for tests at Baillieston, Springburn, Shieldhall (Govan), Hamilton and Airdrie Test Centres.

Prior to your test the examiner will check your eyesight. You must be able to read a licence plate from 20 metres. If you cannot read the licence plate your test will not take place.
Show Me Tell Me questions - you will be asked one show me and one tell me question. (See page for list of questions).
You will thern drive for approximately 35 - 40 mins on a variety of roads with speed limits ranging from 20mph to 70mph.
You will be required to carry out one manoeuvre from four (turn in the road, left reverse, reverse park or bay park), approximately 10 mins of IndependentDriving and possibly a controlled
You will pass the test if you have no more than 15 driving faults (minor faults) and no serious or dangerous faults.

The Practical Test will cost £62 or £75 (weekends and bank holidays). If you are charged more than this you are on the wrong website.
